Speaker Bio:
Rachel Ballatori is the Founder and CEO of Mill + Co., a female-led advertising collective specializing in brand strategy, creative ideation and execution. Rachel launched Mill + Co. 4.5 years ago as an idea, in a 500 sqft Manhattan apartment, to make the advertising industry better. Fast-forward to today, Mill + Co. is currently based out of Manchester, NH, has served over 40 global clients (and growing), has two full-time employees (and growing), based in Boston, MA with 150 globally-based, vetted freelancers (93% female) in the curated collective, covering all types of advertising and creative services. Rachel attended Johns Hopkins University from 2008-2012 to achieve degrees in Psychology and Entrepreneurship & Management, while competing on the Division 1 Women’s Lacrosse team as a 2-time captain. She also founded the Stick it to Sarcoma Foundation in 2011, a non-profit organization through the Johns Hopkins Hospital’s Sarcoma Program, aimed to raise funding and awareness for sarcoma, a rare form of cancer that sadly took her father in late 2011. The SITS Foundation raised over $100K, all of which has been donated to the Hopkins Sarcoma Program to fund a research team, which earned her the honor of being named one of Baltimore’s Finest “35 Under 35”. She is an active member of the New Hampshire Tech Alliance, currently serves as the head of marketing for the Board of Directors to the Canandaigua Lake Wine Trail in Canandaigua, NY, and is a member of the Development Committee to the Board of Directors for the SEE Science Center in Manchester, NH.
