NH Tech Alliance Initiatives
Alliance initiatives are part of our commitment to nurturing a vibrant ecosystem through partnerships and enhancing knowledge.
The NH Tech Alliance Initiatives serve the Alliance mission by creating connections, encouraging growth and advocating for the tech and startup ecosystems here in New Hampshire.
Alpha Loft, BioMed|Tech, CS4NH, Live Free and Start, and TechWomen|TechGirls, all provide unique opportunities for Alliance members to get engaged with different sectors within tech and innovation. Each initiative has core events and programming that you can learn more about below.
Alpha Loft incubates and accelerates startup and early-stage companies in NH, creating an entrepreneurial culture of growing companies. Alpha Loft became an initiative of the Alliance in 2018 to create more opportunities for partnerships and growth across the ecosystem. Alpha Loft provides high value programming, events, advice and mentoring to help improve startup founders’ prospects for successfully launching and scaling innovation-based businesses.
NH Tech Alliance and Computer Science For New Hampshire (CS4NH) partnered in early 2018 to collaborate on a common goal of ensuring that more NH students are able to access basic computer skills and programming opportunities as K-12 students.
Live Free and Start exists to make New Hampshire an even better place for innovative businesses to start, grow and succeed. The initiative is supported by the Alliance Startup Committee, a group of dedicated entrepreneurs and business leaders from across the state. LFS provides startups with information and access to a range of resources and networks that can support their growth and development in the Granite State. Efforts are focused on expanding access to capital, modernizing business regulation and creating a vibrant tech ecosystem.
The BioMed|Tech initiative exists to further strengthen New Hampshire’s tech sector and advance NH’s bio-tech/med-tech leadership position – focused specifically in the biotechnology, pharma, medical devices and general health technology arena – by providing industry-relevant services, programs and support to NH’s ever-growing ecosystem of patient health-centric companies.
TechWomen|TechGirls is an Alliance initiative focused on building a strong community of female professionals enthusiastic about technology and also supporting efforts where girls are exploring STEM as a career or area of study. TechWomen|TechGirls holds programs for professional women to connect, educate and explore ideas around career development, technology initiatives and innovation. The community also deploys volunteers and mentors to support academic STEM initiatives and events for girls happening all over New Hampshire.
