Director of Engagement and Events
Job Summary:
As the Director of Engagement and Events at the NH Tech Alliance (NHTA), your primary focus will be to deepen member engagement, elevate the Alliance’s brand through executing events, implementing social media and marketing strategies. This role prioritizes fostering member satisfaction and amplifying the NHTA’s presence in the tech community.
Responsibilities:
Member Relations:
-Implement comprehensive strategies for member retention, satisfaction, and support.
-Effectively communicate member benefits to enhance engagement.
-Proactively build relationships with existing Tech Alliance members
Marketing and Social Media:
-Execute marketing plans to elevate the NHTA brand within the tech industry.
-Manage social media channels, ensuring a consistent and engaging online presence.
-Curate and distribute a weekly newsletter showcasing NH Tech Alliance updates, member spotlights, and industry insights.
-Ensure regular updates to the NHTA website, including sponsor logos, event pages, and blog posts.
Event Logistics:
-Source, select, and negotiate venues for NHTA events.
-Manage all event logistics, including printing, signage, AV, F&B, run of show, and sponsor communication.
-Update event pages on the NHTA website.
-Manage the NHTA event calendar, ensuring regular updates and promoting member events.
-Set up event registration using MemberZone and Eventbrite platforms.
-Coordinate and lead event committees.
-Advise on event content, speakers, and related elements.
-Schedule event reminder emails.
-Develop online event nominations/registration forms.
-Maintain and enhance event invite lists, contact lists, and other pertinent databases.
Suggested Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a relevant experience
-Proven experience in member relations, marketing, and social media
-Strong organizational and project management skills.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-Familiarity with social media platforms and online marketing.
-Proficient in using event management and project management tools
-Ability to work collaboratively and lead event committees.
-Must be able to work independently in a hybrid work environment
