TechWomen|TechGirls, a program of the New Hampshire High Tech Council (Council) has announced the keynote speaker for its second annual Awards Luncheon on April 5. Roseann Sdoia, a Boston Marathon bombing survivor/amputee and motivational speaker, will share her powerful and personal story of perseverance and will offer lessons learned throughout her challenging comeback journey. She will also touch upon the innovative technology used throughout her recovery as an amputee that allows her to continue to live a highly productive and fulfilling life.
“We’re incredibly honored to have Roseann share her inspirational journey and indomitable spirit at our TechWomen|TechGirls Annual Awards Luncheon,” said Shannon Herrmann, annual luncheon committee chair and IT/technology staffing specialist with the Alexander Technology Group. “We look forward to her insightful, motivating message and to learning more about the important role that technology plays as an amputee in enabling her to continue to live a rich and rewarding life.”
In addition to the keynote address, the event will honor three women who work in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) as the TechStudent, TechEducator and TechWoman of the Year. Nominations are currently being accepted. To receive a nomination form, contact Shannon Herrmann at [email protected].
