december-twtg-dr-annabel-beerelManchester, NH – The New Hampshire High Tech Council (Council) will host its last TechWomen Power Breakfast of the year on Wednesday, December 14 from 7:30 to 9 am at the Manchester Country Club, 180 South River Road in Bedford. The program, “Mindfulness and Father Christmas,” will be presented by Dr. Annabel Beerel, an organizational consultant who will discuss strategies to reduce anxiety during one of the most hectic and frenzied times of the year. Whether it’s the extra tasks that need to be organized, the stress of spending extra money or simply the challenge of trying to please the bevy of friends and family in our individual circles, the program will highlight ways to regain control and minimize stress during the holiday season.

“There’s no better time of year to learn some effective coping strategies as we all try to keep our heads above water,” said Candice Benson, who oversees the Tech Women|Tech Girls events and is a member of the Council’s board of directors. “This program will directly benefit anyone striving to find that ‘sense of calm’ during the busy holiday season as we manage our seemingly endless to-do lists.”

Dr. Beerel is the founder and president and CEO of the New England Women’s Leadership Institute, an organization that helps women advance in their careers and advises others on organizational leadership capacity building. She holds a PhD in comparative religion and ethics from Boston University and a masters in theology from the Weston Jesuit School of Theology in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and has pursued advanced leadership training at the J.F. Kennedy School of Management at Harvard University. Additionally, she holds an MBA with a focus on corporate finance and strategic management and is also a certified accountant. Previously Dr. Beerel was a corporate financier and investment banker in London where she was actively engaged in business analysis, fundraising, merger and acquisitions and strategic planning. She founded and ran a highly successful business in artificial intelligence for a period of eight years.

The TechWomen|TechGirls breakfast series is sponsored by TD Bank and Newforma. Tickets for the Power Breakfast are $10 for members of the Council and $20 for not-yet-members, and includes breakfast. Register here or call 603-935-8951.
