Help Launch the Careers of Tomorrow’s Tech Leaders, Today

Alliance News, Member News, Workforce |

Sometimes, it’s hard to believe that there was ever a time without the Internet and computers. Looking back 30 years, it’s astonishing to see how quickly computer technology has evolved and has become integrated into almost every aspect of our lives.

As a member of the NH Tech Alliance, it is likely no secret to you that the tech sector is one of the top industries across the state with a direct impact of $11.2 billion. As a result, this ranks New Hampshire as5th in the country for the highest concentration of tech workers, according to CompTIA’s Cyberstates report. Many of those who are currently working in the computer science field are among the group of pioneers who launched the industry and found great success within it. Their innovation and impact have been crucial to the Granite State.

If you are a tech professional looking for your next mission and want to level up your impact, there are opportunities and incentives to consider a different way of contributing to our tech ecosystem.

To support workforce and educational needs, New Hampshire is looking for skilled, experienced computer science educators to pass on their knowledge to the next generation. According to the National Center for Education Statistics, in 2021, 44.7 percent of public schools in New Hampshire had difficulty filling computer science educator positions or were unable to do so all together.

Today’s students are among the first generation of “digital natives,” or those who grew up with technology at their fingertips. This generation and New Hampshire’s technology industry would greatly benefit from the mentorship and teaching of the state’s computer science pioneers.

Have you ever dreamed of carrying on your legacy in a unique way? Have you often wondered what it might be like to inspire the next generation of tech leaders? Are you passionate about your industry and the continued success of it in local communities? Maybe you’re looking for a change from your current role.
