The NH Tech Alliance has come together with the Devine Millimet law firm to offer a three-part exit planning seminar series designed to help company owners who may be seeking to sell, merge or leave their business in the coming year. The morning seminars are free and will take place over the course of three weeks on May 23, May 30 and June 6 at Devine Millimet’s offices in downtown Manchester.
The seminars will include speakers from Devine Millimet’s mergers and acquisitions (M&A) team who will share best practices and strategies for business owners that are looking to get out of their business. The three seminars in the series will be stand-alone in terms of subject-matter. Attendees are welcome to attend one seminar or all three, as the topics will be separate but will build off of one another.
“Whether you are three years or 15 years away from looking to leave your business, there are many steps to consider throughout the process,” said Angela B. Martin, shareholder and vice-chair of Devine Millimet’s M&A team. “We will attempt to demystify the process in order to prepare you as much as possible when the time comes to make this significant decision.”
Presenters from Devine Millimet’s M&A team will include Angela B. Martin, Steve Cohen, Kerry Kehoe Battles, Margaret “Peg” O’Brien and Joseph P. Rheaume.
