The 20th annual Product of the Year competition will highlight the best innovation from New Hampshire in the last year.  Finalists receive exposure locally throughout the judging process and globally through the NH Tech Alliance YouTube Channel.

Applications are now open for Product of the Year 2026. Please review the Criteria and Process below before submitting your application.

Criteria

All of the criteria below must be met:

  • Companies must have either a headquarters, subsidiary or division based in New Hampshire
  • Products must have been released or significantly updated within the last 12 months
  • Products must meet the broad categorization of high tech and/or advanced manufacturing

The application fee is waived for Alliance members and is $350 for courtesy members and non-members. Applications are now open.

Process

After the application deadline closes, up to ten finalists are selected by a panel of esteemed judges with entrepreneurial and investing experience, as well as some past winners. Those ten finalists present their product to the judges committee.  The judges will then narrow the selection down to five finalists to present at the November event.

The event will consist of seven minute presentations live from the Bank of NH Stage. The video will be posted on the NHTA YouTube Channel.

After the presentations, audience members vote for their favorite product.  The final winner will be selected by combining the audience choice and the judges choice with equal weight. The Product of the Year is announced at the end of the event.

About Product of the Year

POY is a competitive event which offers the local business community an opportunity to recognize the outstanding achievements of companies who develop innovative technology products in New Hampshire. As across the United States, New Hampshire has seen an increasingly competitive marketplace in the tech sector. POY is an interactive, fun and incredibly invigorating night to see local companies pitch their latest and greatest technological products.

The POY audience is actively engaged and helps select the winner each year by providing 50% of the final tabulation; the other 50% comes directly from the POY expert panel of judges. The winner is announced live at the event, and will have their company name etched into the prestigious Product of the Year crystal trophy.

The winning company’s product is featured for the entire year at the Manchester-Boston Regional Airport, in a display seen by thousands of people traveling to and from New Hampshire!
