The course gives NH tech professionals access to skill-building sessions and networking activities with top tech executives.

Manchester, NH, January 31, 2023 The NH Tech Alliance (NHTA), a non-profit industry organization dedicated to all things tech in New Hampshire, is excited to announce the launch of their new program, Ascending Leaders in Tech. This interactive, hands-on program is designed to help existing and emerging leaders in the tech industry sharpen their skills, connect with influential tech executives, and maximize their impact in the industry.

Ascending Leaders in Tech is a six session course that is open to New Hampshire tech professionals in leadership positions or those who aspire to be in a leadership role. Participants will meet for six day-long sessions between September 2023 and May 2024. The course will focus on building diverse skills across relationship management, finance, resilience and wellness, the executive mindset, and leadership impact.

“Leadership is about more than just technical aptitude or business know-how; leaders need to develop the right mentality, relationship skills and resolve,” said Julie Demers, Executive Director of the NHTA, “The Ascending Leaders in Tech program is designed to help tech professionals develop the skill set needed to be successful leaders in today’s tech industry.”

Part of NHTA’s mission is to groom more leaders to continue growing the state’s burgeoning tech ecosystem. Although it doesn’t receive the recognition of more popular tech epicenters, New Hampshire is among the world’s leaders in tech innovation. In 2021, the tech sector contributed $10.8 billion to the New Hampshire economy

“New Hampshire needs to continue building its pipeline of tech leaders to keep up with the rapid growth of our tech sector,” shared Jeremy Hitchcock, Founder of New North Ventures, Former Founder and CEO Dyn, and NHTA Board Member. “This program will develop future leaders to create a more robust and connected industry.”

Throughout the course, participants will work with well-established, successful tech industry leaders who will share expertise and insights from their leadership journeys. By the end of the program, participants will have a built-in network of influential leaders across the state along with the tools and skills needed to take their leadership to the next level.
