NH High Tech Council event includes networking at the Thirsty Moose Tap House
While New Hampshire’s Seacoast region features beautiful scenery and countless recreation options, it’s also home to a bustling technology scene, which will be on display in Dover on Wednesday, August 15. The state’s tech community is invited to the second-annual Seacoast Tech Tour, which begins a 5 pm at Weather Analytics, 1 Washington Street Suite 539 in Dover. Envio 360 is the second stop on the walking tour, and the event wraps up at the Thirsty Moose Tap House for a networking social beginning at 7 pm.
At the tour, attendees can meet with teams from each spotlight company, learn more about their products and services, and network over snacks and beverages.
“This event is becoming a fast-favorite because of its fun and informal format and many opportunities for one-on-one conversations with others in the tech industry,” said Julia McIntosh, coordinator of the Council’s Seacoast Committee. “Both Weather Analytics and Envio 360 have compelling stories and are achieving remarkable results for their clients across the globe and this is a great opportunity for a behind the scenes look at both companies.”
Weather Analytics combines atmospheric data and computer science to solve business challenges and decision support solutions. It offers risk mitigation tools and predictive analytics for weather events and potential event-related losses by leveraging industry expertise and a comprehensive weather database. It is based in Dover, NH and Washington, D.C.
Envio 360, also based in Dover, is a real-time software tool that automates intermodal trucking companies, making them more efficient and profitable. Using artificial intelligence, the company automatically manages complex trucking industry operations with a team of experienced professionals in intermodal operations, intermodal software development, data science, and machine learning.
Attendance is limited to the first 35 people who sign up, and registration is required. Tickets are $10 for Council members and employees of Weather Analytics and Enviro 360 or $15 for non-members, and available online at nhhtc.org. The event is hosted by the Council’s Seacoast Committee, which focuses on bringing engaging technology-related events to the NH Seacoast.
