The ebrew is back – 20th anniversary celebratory kick off is March 6

NH’s premier creative/technical networking event, ebrew, is rebooting through a partnership with NH Tech Alliance and the Chamber Collaborative of Greater Portsmouth

After a bit of a hibernation. the Portsmouth-based monthly networking event for technologists and creatives, ebrew, is coming back! The casual event is a place to meet peers, share stories and opportunities, and relax after a days work. The kickoff event is March 6th at The Press Room from 5 to 7 pm and future events are held on the first Wednesday of each month. All are held at no cost and no pre-registration is required – just show up and hang out!

Ebrews started in 1999 – making this the 20th year anniversary for the event. Ebrews are returning on the heels of Portsmouth beloved mainstay, The Press Room, returning to operation after extended renovations.

“The Press Room is back, and so is the monthly ebrew. We couldn’t be happier to have this free flow of ideas from the area’s many tech employees and guests take place at its old stomping grounds, 77 Daniel St.,” said Valerie Rochon, president of the Chamber Collaborative of Greater Portsmouth.

Many locals remember with fondness the ebrew events over the last two decades. “I am thrilled that we are able to bring this event back.” said NH Tech Alliance accelerator director Joshua Cyr. “I have made so many good friends from these events over the years. Many attended my wedding. In fact I met my wife just after an ebrew 15 years ago. The genesis for Alpha Loft, the coworking space model came from a conversation at an ebrew many years ago.” Cyr said.

The ebrew annual sponsor is Market Street Talent. “Welcome back ebrew! Market Street Talent is excited to be part of this creative tech community. And we are delighted to be a 2019 sponsor of ebrew as it directly aligns with our mission to promote and foster the growth of Information Technology in our community. See you at The Press Room!” said company founder Jennifer Gray.

The March ebrew sponsor, PCGit, has been a long time ebrew champion through their VP of Marketing JoAnn Hodgdon, former chamber board member and eCoast chair.
