The June TechWomen Power Breakfast will focus on how the gig economy is changing how people and projects are managed.
The New Hampshire Tech Alliance (Alliance) TechWomen Power Breakfast for the month of June will feature Candice Benson of Benson Consulting, who will discuss how leaders within organizations must learn how to optimize their relationship with contractors and freelance workers by learning how to manage them effectively. The monthly event will take place on Wednesday, June 12th from 7:30 to 9:00 am at the Manchester Country Club, 180 South River Road in Bedford.
In today’s world of increasing job opportunities and low unemployment, learning new methods to manage gig economy workers effectively is critical to an organization’s success and longevity. Being able to pull the right talent into where it is needed most, without re-creating the wheel each time, will give organizations an edge in the current and growing talent war.
All of this growth and opportunity in the marketplace has companies struggling to hire the talent they need, so they are turning to consultants and freelancers more than ever. Ms. Benson will discuss new strategies for resource allocation and planning; how to focus on inclusion in building teams, tactics for managing a new type of team that includes gig workers, and critical processes you must have in place to ensure success for your team’s projects.
