Manchester-based Emerson Ecologics will be the featured presenter at the Entrepreneur Forum on Wednesday, February 15, one of the marquee events series run by the New Hampshire High Tech Council (Council). The program, geared toward the Granite State’s entrepreneur and business community, focuses on an opportunity or challenge faced by an organization that is shared with similar companies in their space and business cycle. The global business issue to be discussed will be “changing a business model from focusing on medical professionals to the actual consumers using the products in a world of rapidly-evolving healthcare.” Read more. The 2017 legislative session kicked off in a flurry with a new Republican Governor, Chris Sununu (first Republican governor elected since 2002), many new faces in the House and Senate with Republican majorities across the board. The New Hampshire High Tech Council will be very active this year in our focal areas, one of which is tech talent development. There are two key pieces of legislation we worked on that address tech talent recruitment, both of which have been sponsored by Senator Dan Innis (R-24). Read more. Read more
