Membership Management Software Can Be Exciting – Really!

As members of the NH High Tech Council, you may have noticed some recent changes to the registration website when signing up for an event or renewing your membership. This is a result of our migration to new membership management software, MemberZone that was announced and implemented in late February. Since then, we have realized a number of time saving benefits. But the advantages go beyond just an improved user interface. As such, we want to take this opportunity to highlight a few of these new features you now have access to via the new system.

First, MemberZone has a sophisticated member directory that allows you – as members – to view all member companies. No more need to call the Council office for a member directory! This should expand your networking opportunities.

Second, each member company has its own, unique home page that allows you to provide a detailed company description, add a link to your website, add employee profiles, and more. The more you add, the more other members learn about you. To date we have had quite a few member companies begin to build their profile and add their information as the system. It is important to note that this is a members-only system! Therefore the content you create will be visible only to other NHHTC members, not the general public. We encourage you to leverage this powerful feature to maximize your visibility and overall membership value.

Third, when you register for one or our many events, you can go into your profile, go to the event, and see who else is attending. This is a great feature for connecting with old friends and planning for making new contacts!

Over the next several months, we will be profiling additional features such as: member to member discounts, job boards, sharing interests in industry sectors, volunteer coordination, and more.

In closing, we hope this update and summary has been helpful. This upgrade has truly moved the ball forward in enabling the High Tech Council be more technological. With MemberZone, we now have a platform that is streamlining data entry and reporting, integrates with our website, QuickBooks and Constant Contact, and saves time and resources that can get put to better use on behalf of the Council. But with any system, it will only be as beneficial as the inputs. So we look forward to working with each and every one of you to make this an invaluable resource for the Council and its members!
