She will speak about her experience as a female CEO in the world of sports helping organizations become more data-driven and use analytic insights to grow the bottom line including for the New England Patriots. Claritza Abreu, MSCIS, vice president of enterprise technology risk management for State Street Corporation – a financial services holding company – will headline the event and discuss how her mentors and role models impacted her career. TechWomen|TechGirls, a program of the New Hampshire High Tech Council (Council) has announced the keynote speaker for its second annual Awards Luncheon on April 5. Roseann Sdoia, a Boston Marathon bombing survivor/amputee and motivational speaker, will share her powerful and personal story of perseverance and will offer lessons learned throughout her challenging comeback journey. She will also touch upon the innovative technology used throughout her recovery as an amputee that allows her to continue to live a highly productive and fulfilling life. Read more. Read more

Celebrate with the TechWoman, TechStudent and TechEducator of the Year at event on April 6
The Council’s TechWomen|TechGirls program will honor three distinguished women at the upcoming annual awards luncheon on April 6 at LaBelle Winery in Amherst, New Hampshire. The awards name and recognize the 2016 TechWoman, TechEducator, and TechStudent of the Year. The event marks the first time that the Council specifically pays tribute to women for their significant contribution to innovation, education, mentorship, entrepreneurship and courage to advance science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) for the next generation.
