The New Hampshire High Tech Council will host its next TechWomen Power Breakfast on Wednesday, July 13 from 7:30 to 9 am at the Manchester Country Club, 180 South River Road in Bedford. The event will feature networking “do’s and don’ts,” how to prepare for networking events, how to practice your “pitch” and suggestions for effective networking strategies. Read more. Read more

The NH High Tech Council has announced the addition of five new members to its Board of Directors, as well as the selection of a new board chair. Candice Benson, Ian Howell, Lisa King, Dan Scanlon and John Whelan were elected to the Council’s Board of Directors and Toral Cowieson was named board chair. The election was finalized at the Council’s annual member meeting held on May 31 with each member serving a three-year term. Read more. Read more

New Hampshire’s largest startup competition, TechOut, is now accepting applications for its 2016 competition. TechOut, jointly organized by the NH High Tech Council and AlphaLoft, is entering its fifth year of recognizing talented entrepreneurs by awarding cash investments to promising tech start-up companies. The competition will provide a half a million dollars in financing, awarded over the course of five years. This year’s awards event is October 5 at Dyn in Manchester, NH.
